So, I bought an old Kodak Duaflex camera yesterday. $7.50, wooo. It needed a little cleaning, so as a result I know very well what the inside of a Kodak Duaflex is like

; but... It's a 620 camera.
For those who aren't fotogeeks like me, that means it uses a format that *is not available anymore*.
On the plus side, though... 120 rolls (which *are* available) can be easily modified to fit some 620 cameras... Duaflex included.
So, as a result, I have a roll of film loaded into a 60-year-old camera. I'll be shooting it tomorrow and hopefully going to have it developed by Friday. With any luck, I have a fun 'new' camera to play with now. ^.^
And if it doesn't work, well... I bought another one on eBay about an hour ago. And might buy a third. There's other uses for a Duaflex than taking pictures the way someone would have in the 50s, after all...

A boy and his dog make a glorious pair:
No better friendship is found anywhere,
For they talk and they walk and they run and they play,
And they have their deep secrets for many a day;
Who walks down the road with a dog at his heels.
